Are there more confirmed players than the following ones, that will play for SM-Liiga teams in case of a lockout?

HPK - Jani Rita
Lukko - Esa Pirnes
Tappara - Ville Nieminen

Also, even if not confirmed.. which "big name" players are rumoured/likely to play for which SM-Liiga teams?
Thank you

TPS - Saku Koivu and Miikka Kiprusoff :DNope. None of the big name players are ready to pay hundreds of thousands to the Finnish taxman just for the pleasure of playing a dozen SM-liiga games.

Tomi Pettinen (NY Islanders) will play in Lukko also. And in today's newspaper was that HPK has made offer to Alexei Zhamnov.

We'll see about the tax issue. But as far as the players are concerned, Koivu, Kiprusoff, Salo and Berg are all ready to play for TPS.

Over here I've heard that Koivu will play for TPS if there's a lockout, and since it's looking like a lockout, I'm guessing he'll be there this year. Hope he has a great season. :handclap:

You guys forgot Sami Kapanen and Kimmo Timonen to KalPa, their contracts are confirmed, although KalPa is a Mestis team. link (http://www.jatkoaika.com/mestis.php?joukkue=KalPa&sivu=uutiset&sivu=uutiset&id=3595)

Patrik Stefan to Ilves was already confirmed by Jatkoaika, but Ilves denied the contract, so I don't know what's going on.

Likely/rumoured: Tuomo Ruutu, Jarkko Ruutu, Olli Jokinen and Marek Zidlicky to HIFK. I don't think IFK could afford to sign that many NHLers, but maybe one or two of them. And even if they were to sign Zidlicky, one foreigner would have to be moved, thanks to the stupid new foreigner rule.
