Lets wait a little more than 5 games(4 of which were against rather average offensive teams) before declaring that...

somebody tell Michael Vick that big smear on your helmet is from the Lions Defense Running over your ass.

Atlanta's offense was Manhandled today by Detroit, WITH OUT Dre Bly.

Agreed, but it only took ONE game for most the "experts" here to declare them he team with the WORST offensive line in the history of professional football and Warner gone for the year after 2 or 3 games.

I'm still concerned about Detroit's offense concidering the gift they got from the Falcons on one turnover in particular, yet were only able to get a FG. The Falcons kept giving the Lions oppurtunities with penalty after penalty too on that drive, yet only a FG.

To be honest, it was of the sloppiest games I've seen in quite awhile. Both teams took brutal penalties, it's just that the Falcons took a few more than the Lions and had 4 turnovers. Not sure if the Lions beat the Falcons or the Falcons beat the Falcons.

But a win is a win.

Well thats how most of the so called "experts" are...always quick to jump to conclusions early in the season.

I'm just happy the 49ers actually won a game. I was feeling depressed that we had actually sunk below the Cardinals but Rattay led one hell of a comeback, but what else is new with 49er qbs. Getting Lloyd back was a big plus today, but losing Peterson really hurts the defense. He's a very effective blitzer and is a dominating player on the field. I'd consider him a top 3 OLB, if not the best OLB in the league. Rebuilding process is gonna be tough, but it makes me appreciate games like this more. Cant wait for countdown next week to hear what Irvin and Jackson have to say after saying for weeks the Cardinals are better than the 49ers and by a good bit. Enjoy the taste of crow fellas. :)
