(For those who don't know what it is, this is a pool where each week you pick a team in the NFL who you think will lose. If they end up winning, you're eliminated. And once you choose a team, you can't use them again. I've made the pool into a 15 selection public poll format so that your selection will be recorded for you. I've tried to pick the worst 14 matchups for the week and made selection 15 "other" which will require you to reply with your selection.)

Gonna try and keep the Dolphins in reserve for another week. The Panthers are my pick

I've been saving San Fran for a rainy day. Hopefully it pours all over them in NY.

J-E-T-S Jets Jets Jets!

If this gets done quick, we'll have to do another one as its not quite halfway through the season yet.

I'm still in my survivor thing on yahoo where you pick the winner. I'm really leaning towards Buffalo this week over Miami, but St. Louis over Tampa could be a winner as well as I dont think Tampa can keep up with St. Louis.

Im debating between Carolina and New orleans.Im takin Carolina they are banged up on offense and their D hasn't been great. If the Vikings Pass D wasn't so pitiful the game against New Orleans would be a gimme

This is the first time it's been extremely difficult to find an obvious pick...which is a sign that the suicide pool is finally starting to get interesting. :)

Anyway, I'm taking Carolina. I'm willing to put my hopes in the pool on the line with Andy Reid's amazing record after the bye.

I'm obviously not in it any more, but I'm keeping making selections till I get one wrong. If I were still alive, I'd have picked San Francisco, as I have no doubt the J-E-T-S will stay unbeaten.

I debated between Carolina and Oakland..... I'll go with Carolina this week (Go Eagles) and save Oakland for another week!

Imagine if the Panthers win......

Imagine if the Panthers win......

Then this is obviously a two or three horse race.

I will be utterly shocked if anyone is eliminated from the pool this week....out of those who voted already, anyway.

Lol, I'm Jets fan, but I'd be real nervous to pick a team they're playing against in a loser pool. The Jets are one of those teams that can just ***** a brick at any time. But this game really shouldn't have been as close as it was, The Jets were lethargic at the beginning, and suffered from some pretty awful calls early.

10-17-2004, 03:32 PM
49ers should have won that game, but made too mistakes in the 2nd half. Why do you pull out a trick play when your in fg range when Rattay had been picking em apart and a running play wouldnt have lost 10+ yards. *sigh* Had that game in the bag, but blew it. Sucks to be a 49er fan right now and probably for a few more years. :(

Man i was sweating bullets with my pro line ticket.I took Miami to beat the 7.5 spread and when mcgahee broke that big run I thought I was doomed if they hit a field goal or Td.Thank God they just ran the clock down. All I need now is a Minny cover of 5 and I win.Washington and green bay also beat their spreads

I've obviously been eliminated, but unofficially, I pick right again. Way to go J-E-T-S!

10-17-2004, 09:51 PM
Woo Hoo...... considering my other pools are tanking, I can at least say I lose the right way here!
