2005 Draft eligible.

I posted this in the prospects board as well, but are there any scouting reports/information on this player? :dunno:

Good Job Wacey! HE is one of the hardest workers on the blades (and there a hard working team) and He is fast and has a decent shot. He is small though

I wonder what pro scouts think about him. He's small, but maybe he can be a Daniel Briere or P-M Bouchard type pick for a team in the first round (if there is one, yaddy yadda). He's preformed at a high level before, and done well (U-16's I think, where he was the 2nd line centre behind Crosby a year ago).

People thought he was slacking it last year, but the whole team was. He's taken an opportunity under Mollekon (Brown was going to be the 1st line centre, but was signed by Nashville before the season started and is in Milwaukee) and hasn't looked back.

Watched him play on Friday night, decent little player. He has a nose for the net, but is not overly speedy. Works hard and is integeral to his team. He played C, but also QB'd the PP and killed penalties. Pretty impressive for a kid his age.

Having said that, he is not overly fast or offensive, and is infact a 5-9 player with a history of concussions. I will be shocked if he is taken before the 5th round in June.

He's got a good name to go with some skill. Will be a fan favourite wherever he ends up. Has anyone got any information on teammate Joe Barnes? I though he'd get picked last year for sure but no one picked him. How's his progress?

Barnes wasn't picked because he didn't enter. He seems to be getting his game back this season though after injuries ruined his last couple campaigns.
