(For those who don't know what it is, this is a pool where each week you pick a team in the NFL who you think will lose. If they end up winning, you're eliminated. And once you choose a team, you can't use them again. I've made the pool into a 15 selection public poll format so that your selection will be recorded for you. I've tried to pick the worst 14 matchups for the week and made selection 15 "other" which will require you to reply with your selection.)

Buffalo at Baltimore, 1:00 pm
Chicago at Tampa Bay, 1:00 pm
Detroit at N.Y. Giants, 1:00 pm
Jacksonville at Indianapolis, 1:00 pm
Philadelphia at Cleveland, 1:00 pm
San Diego at Carolina, 1:00 pm
St. Louis at Miami, 1:00 pm
Tennessee at Minnesota, 1:00 pm
N.Y. Jets at New England, 4:05 pm

New Orleans at Oakland, 4:15 pm
Seattle at Arizona, 4:15 pm
Denver at Cincinnati, 9:00 pm
Rick Middleton 10-19-2004, 01:07 PM I'm leaning towards Jacksonville, but this is going to be a tough week, given that I've burned through a lot of the dogs so far. I'm also thinking Jets.
klingsor 10-19-2004, 04:44 PM It's always a mistake to vote with your heart instead of your head, but what the hell:
Detroit to lose.
Im takin Cleveland.I don't think they can stop Mcnabb and that 0-line against the eagles D line will have garcia running all over the place and will get hit hard at least 4-5 times
Unholy Diver 10-19-2004, 10:58 PM Send in the Clowns..err Browns...err same thing

La Cosa Nostra agrees with you. G Men are a 6 1/2 point favorite.
(My neighbor from Michigan is coming over Sunday to watch the game .... could get ugly. :D )
Bobby Ryan Getzlaf 10-20-2004, 09:32 AM Well, since I'll keep making my picks, and since I'm playing for nothing, I'll take a risk and go with Jacksonville.
ObeySteve 10-20-2004, 11:50 AM I'll take Jacksonville. Jacksonville gave Indy a good fight when they met 3 weeks ago, but Jacksonville won't have much of a chance in the RCA dome against the best offense in the NFL.
CharlieGirl 10-21-2004, 12:01 PM I'll take Cleveland..... I'll save Oakland for another week when I really need a bottom feeder!
DocHolliday 10-21-2004, 02:20 PM Jags won't be able to stop Peyton and Co.
John Flyers Fan 10-21-2004, 03:44 PM A toss up between the Jags and Browns.
I'll take the Jags on that fast turf in Indy.

I agree, I was thinking about going off the board and taking Dallas IN Green Bay, but I'll wait another week to see if that was the real Green Bay team that ran Detroit up and down the field last week.
I would take Cleveland, but I think that game will be closer than most will think.

Well, I was right about it being a mistake, wasn't I?
Goodbye, all.
Unholy Diver 10-24-2004, 03:03 PM Looks like all the Cryers phans are in trouble.....Jacksonville just went up by 3 with 38 seconds left
Phew!!!!!!!Thank you David Akers. And then their was 4
ObeySteve 10-24-2004, 03:50 PM I put more faith in the Colts than my own team. :(

I didnt want to go to the well too many times for the Eagles because they will lose eventually.
However, anyone who wouldn't put their faith into the Colts at home vs Jacksonville (who I refuse to beleive is for real) would have been an idiot and sometimes idiots win.

Fine, don't believe Jacksonville is for real. The thing is they almost beat Indianapolis the first meeting and beat them today. Plus, the had the ball inside the 10 yard line twice which resulted in one field goal and a fumble.
I hope people don't think the Jags are real so they can surprise them and beat them. Leftwich has been very good the past couple of games and is one of the reasons as to why the Jags are 5-2.
Every year there is a team that is 5-2 that shouldn't be and they usually end the season around 7-9.
CharlieGirl 10-24-2004, 09:24 PM Whew!! This one was a little too close for comfort...... when the hell did Cleveland learn how to play?
Vic Rattlehead* 10-24-2004, 09:26 PM Every year there is a team that is 5-2 that shouldn't be and they usually end the season around 7-9.
There is also a certain team that excels in the regular season yet seems to lose when it matters in the playoffs. Either way, it come down to no superbowl for either team.
Interesting, Jacksonville lost a few close games last year and had a good defense, yet no one seemed to care. They become 5-2 this season and are called lucky. It's all about capitalizing on the games in the final minute. Jacksonvilled could have put this game awat in the second half, but they made mistakes.

They play pretty well at home.
