NBA 2k5 or NBA Live 2005?

Anybody played either?

I think I'm going to buy one this year, and that low pricetag for 2k5 is really tempting...

Im not much of a basketball fan but NBA 2k5 has impressed me alot. Lots of good extras like 24/7,Street and 21. Good graphics, great gameplay. The only negatives are the music (if you have a PS2) and Stuart Scott.

I have not played Live.

Just read the IGN.com reviews, and it looks like NBA Live is the game to play.

They say the NBA 2k series took a step back, and NBA Live is the best EA basketball game ever made. Also, it looks like EA will be selling Live for $50 in canada ($39 in the US), so the price isn't that much different.

I'll probably pick this one up soon.

Live 2005 is the greatest basketball game ever made, the gameplay is simply second to none and the allstar weekend mode is AMAZING. The dunk contest in itself is enough to justify buying the game.
