Where oh where is Lanny Gare?

I was wondering if anyone could tell me where Lanny Gare is playing this year. I know he had a good year with the Quad-City Mallards last year and got a handful of games in with the Hershey Bears.

I can't seem to find out what happened to him in the off-season. Anyone know?

He was at the The Cincinnati Mighty Ducks training camp but they out right released him on October 5th. I would assume he is trying to get on with an ECHL leauge or something similar now.

Lanny is with the ECHL Fresno Falcons now. He played his first game last night. Looks like a very good pickup, and that exactly what our team needs.

Hey thanks! I heard from someone on the Letsgokings.com message board. I'm sure he'll have a great year in Fresno, I'll definitely be keeping tabs on him.

no prob. :) I run a website, www.fresnofalconshockey.com where I post photos of the guys. I'm trying to get caught up, but I'll for sure have some of Lanny when I do update, which should be by Wednesday, if you want to check that out.

He's doing very well for us, was out for the game tonight cause I guess he got injured last night, nothing major I don't think, I saw him after the game and he looked ok. But he has definately helped our team a lot. I'm looking forward to watching him this entire season.

Hey, thanks again for the info, and great site? I'm sure I'll be visiting it frequently to keep tabs on him. Good to hear he's made a positive impact, I'm sure he'll be a big help to that Falcons club.

Has Lanny been moved again? What's the scoop? On the ECHL page there's an 'X' beside his name on the Falcons' roster, saying he's no longer with the team.

He's still listed on the Fresno website, although they don't list his number (28) next to his name. Maybe the X denotes the injury he suffered last week? :dunno:
