Before he left Saku absolutely dominated, how do you think he will fit into the league this time around.

How Good Will Koivu Be at TPSNielson81 10-23-2004, 06:16 PM Before he left Saku absolutely dominated, how do you think he will fit into the league this time around. Unbiased Canadian psycho_dad 10-24-2004, 05:00 AM He will dominate even more. He is the best big ice player in the world, and a very good one on small ice as well. His size is not such a problem in finnish league. He will be the best player in the league, way above everyone else who are in at the moment. Of course excluding Nurminen and Roloson since they cant be compared. mattihp 10-24-2004, 05:07 AM He will dominate even more. He is the best big ice player in the world, and a very good one on small ice as well. His size is not such a problem in finnish league. I'd like to disagree. I'd say that Satan is the best on big ice, Saku maybe second at best. Sampe 10-24-2004, 10:24 AM I'd like to disagree. I'd say that Satan is the best on big ice, Saku maybe second at best. Satan? He's very good but not even the best Slovak on European ice. Palffy owns him. Anyways, if Saku plays like he did in the World Cup, he *might* get close to the point/game numbers he put up in 1994-95 (it's unlikely though, as this time his wingers won't be as good). If however his injury no longer bothers him, he could be nearly unstoppable. Heck, he might even win the (point)scoring championship despite the games he's missed. Nielson81 10-24-2004, 11:31 AM Now I ask everyone,.....is their a team site or finnish league site I could find in Finnish to follow Saku throughout the season?? Thanks in Advance, psycho_dad 10-24-2004, 03:25 PM www.sm-liiga.fi the official league site. http://hc.tps.fi/index.php TPS site psycho_dad 10-24-2004, 03:33 PM If his injuries are behind him, he will be unstoppable. With his skills, size, speed and especially his attitude, you just cant stop Koivu on big ice. Taking into consideration the changed refereeing in finnish league and it's easy to say Koivu will make a huge impact. TPS will play so much powerplay. If he is in the same shape as he was in world cup, he will still be a dominating center in the league. Predatore 10-24-2004, 03:50 PM Satan? Sundin owns them both! ;) SUOMI 10-24-2004, 04:47 PM He will dominate as usual!! :yo: earl 10-27-2004, 04:05 AM Taking into consideration the changed refereeing in finnish league How has the refereeing changed? When will he start playing? earl 11-10-2004, 06:20 AM Has there been any update in Koivu's status? Taze 11-10-2004, 06:33 AM Has there been any update in Koivu's status?
