Since I'm not from Hannover I haven't seen him myself, but I can tell you what's written about him in Hannovers fanboard. Scorpiosn lost their two games of the weekend 2-3 after penaltyshots in Kassel on friday and today 4-7 against Düsseldorf.
Mara seems to have some troubles with the big ice and he's only here a few days. On the friday game he made a mistake that led to a Kassel goal and didn't look that good on the other one too. That also is due to his teammates, who expected too mch of him and let him do most things alone. He is described as technically very strong and goes to the offensive end as well, but skates a bit poor - I think that is because of the flight and 8 months without a game and the bigger rink of course.
He schoul profit from the Deutschland-Cup break next weekend and surely will play a good role in the Hannover team, which at the moment is playing against relegation.

On 23rd the Scorpions will play in Cologne, I can tell you more then for sure ;-)

I think he just got to Germany Thursday, then played Friday. That's not much time to adapt to the time difference either.

i had the chance to see him in his first game here in kassel and he was almost invisible. he was on the ice for good minutes, but never did something special. i guess he was a bit tired and also not really proven with the larger rink.

Was Paul Suspended? My friend found an article somewhere, put it through a translator and it came back appearing that way. I don't know where she found it or where the article is.

I don't think he was suspended. He played in the last game and didn't get a game miscounduct or match penalty.

There are many different meanings of the word suspension in German though...
Some of these meanings can be translated as postponed or something like that.

I'm sorry but I can't tell you anything about Maras perfomance in the game last tuesday. I forgot to keep an eye on him an as I am thinking about it, I'm not even sure he played. Anyway the game was really boring and Hannover lost.

I've never seen a game of the EHC either.

Has Paul been playing or has he been benched? I have not seen his name in any articles lately.

He played in all of his team's games in December, had two assists in ten games.

He's been a huge disappointment just like they whole team.

Yeah, I didnt have very high hopes for big performances. For years he's been a classic case of all the tools and no toolbox. He's started to put it together with some hard work in Phoenix but I cant see him being motivated much in Germany especially for the bottom team.

Thanks for the Updates... He was actually doing well here in Phoenix. The whole team was bad last season. Hopefully the season will start sometime while he is still young enough to play. I will be glad to see him back in Phoenix...
