Can the Cards(NFL) be moves in another city?BiggMac99 11-03-2004, 03:49 PM I tell you the question, Can the Cards be moves in another city? Dr Love 11-03-2004, 03:51 PM :teach: They're moving into a new stadium in 2006. PantherboyHTR 11-03-2004, 05:07 PM I don't think they are as bad as people make them out to be. :teach: Mathletic 11-03-2004, 05:08 PM some NCAA teams would beat them MontrealCruiser_83* 11-03-2004, 05:22 PM They're set at reciever... but the rest of the offence is iffy. The defence could concieveably be coached into a o.k. unit. They should trade for Travis Henry and pick up a franchise QB in the draft. Roughneck 11-03-2004, 05:22 PM We don't want the Cardinals. They suck. two out of three* 11-03-2004, 05:53 PM some NCAA teams would beat them Its a whole new world in the NFL. chris_dub 11-03-2004, 06:28 PM Like I've said before, people in Tempe have a tough time distinguishing the Cardinals from the Sun Devils. PantherboyHTR 11-03-2004, 08:14 PM The 49er's are a trillion times worse, but people only seem to talk on how bad the Cards' are. ObeySteve 11-03-2004, 09:15 PM The Vikings and Saints have the biggest possibilities right now of moving. GKJ 11-03-2004, 09:19 PM The Vikings and Saints have the biggest possibilities right now of moving. The Saints are said to be set to be staying in New Orleans Big McLargehuge 11-03-2004, 10:19 PM Highly doubt it considering they're building a brand new state-of-the-art stadium... two out of three* 11-03-2004, 10:23 PM The 49er's are a trillion times worse, but people only seem to talk on how bad the Cards' are. The Cardinals have been bad for so long, and this is the 1st year in a while that the 49ers have been bad. And who knows whose worse this year? Im going with Arizona. coyoteshockeyfan 11-03-2004, 11:34 PM No. They cant, considering we are building them a stadium. And even though they suck, I finally see a bit of potential for once. coyoteshockeyfan 11-03-2004, 11:36 PM Like I've said before, people in Tempe have a tough time distinguishing the Cardinals from the Sun Devils. Thats not true, we just mostly ignore both. :) PredsFan77* 11-03-2004, 11:52 PM some NCAA teams would beat them Not a chance, given all the players on the Cards are professional players, most college teams get 20 tops. Vomiting Kermit* 11-03-2004, 11:54 PM How many people do the Cards get to home games? Every time I put an Arizona game on, there's more empty seats than people, even when the Pats were in town. :dunno: coyoteshockeyfan 11-04-2004, 12:00 AM How many people do the Cards get to home games? Every time I put an Arizona game on, there's more empty seats than people, even when the Pats were in town. :dunno: Thats moderately accurate. They get maybe 30k a game. Chartrand 11-04-2004, 03:41 AM The 49er's are a trillion times worse, but people only seem to talk on how bad the Cards' are. The 49ers won their only head-to-head matchup this season with Arizona. As expected, it was a pathetic display of football. DisplacedIslander 11-04-2004, 09:14 AM How many people do the Cards get to home games? Every time I put an Arizona game on, there's more empty seats than people, even when the Pats were in town. :dunno: When I lived in Phoenix, I got the chance to go to both a Cardinals game as well as an ASU Sun Devils game. There was definitely more fans in the stands for the top 25 college team then there were in attendance for the NFL game. The majority of the fans at the Cardinls game happened actually to be 49ers fans (Card-Niners game). TV is another story. I think they must have the blackout rul in place in the Metro Phoenix area, because I seldomly got the chance to see them on TV. Instead, they would show Raiders games, or Niners games, or the game of the week. Apparatly, they are being built a new stadium in Glendale, slated to open in 2006. I'm not sure how that will improve the fortunes of the team, but more power to them. Anyone have any idea as to how it's being funded? coyoteshockeyfan 11-04-2004, 04:02 PM When I lived in Phoenix, I got the chance to go to both a Cardinals game as well as an ASU Sun Devils game. About 2/3rds of the cost is funded by the taxpayers, with the Cardinals paying the rest. Death Taxes Conacher 11-04-2004, 04:16 PM The Vikings and Saints have the biggest possibilities right now of moving. If a team besides the Vikings were to move it would be the Colts, not the Saints. And maybe that's why nobody came. Obviously the Pats were going to win. coyoteshockeyfan 11-07-2004, 01:11 PM That's why I created this thread. ;) I city like LA can obtain the Cards and have a nice rivalty with a team like the Raiders, 49ers, Rams(Old LA team), Seahawks. Ah, yes, a city that has lost 2 NFL teams will certainly take care of a perennial loser. The Cards are still profitable here, we are building a stadium for them, and if they could just put a few wins together, theyd have the city's total support. I think the true Cards fans have held up well considering what they have to watch. | ||
