Roster and interview with coach Bragin is there
http://www.hockeynews-online.com/newspaper/article.asp?id=2297
Previuos list is OK. But Kuznetsov, Nosov, Kulemin, Nikulin and Ogorodnikov will not travel with team to Sweden according "All Hockey". It is really interesting - "why ?"

From Bragin words he will try to use this combos:
Lokomotiv line (Galimov, Shafigulin, Glazachev) is already settled;
Malkin and Parshin will play together as they did before;
K. Makarov will replace Ovechkin in Pestunov's line.

Are we sure that Metallurg Mg. is going to let Malkin play in this tournament?

We sure ;)
I remember, that Velichkin ( Metallurg executive director) said that Malkin will play for U-20 team and for Metallurg. It's too tough for him to be leader at Metallurg, leader at U-20 team and also play with men at Eurotour.

I'm suprised Yunkov didn't make the team. Is this just because he's already a lock for the WJC? He's been scoring more lately and has the best +/- of any forwards on his team.

Don't worry. This is not the final roster of the Russian team. There is another group of players coming in Canada for the CHL/Russia Challenge. He may be there. As Denis Ezhov. As Bragin said, the final U-20 team will be form after the tournament in Sweden and the tout in Canada.

Any specific reason to not pick Ovechkin?
He's too good? :)
Tell me, please.

He is with the Russian senior team for the Continental Cup in Sweden. He won't be in Canada, Malkin neither. But they will be in North Dakota.

Of course. I read it in the news yesterday. It slipped my mind.
Thanks

I am sure the team this year will be more competitive than last year, but I doubt it's going to include many full blown Super League players, since the tournament will take place during the regular season. The teams are not very understanding about releasing their young players who they depend on to go to North America for a commercial international tournament.

Any chance to see Alexei Yemelin making the team?
