I'll be covering the tourney in Ann Arbor this week for HF. Which fins should I be watching for? Any potential 05 picks?

There is nothing very spectacular about this group, pretty solid goaltending, mobile defense that is good at getting the puck out of the own zone and into the opponents'. Lahti on forwards is the only name I'd say who has a chance of being a first rounder, but there are some guys here who very well can surprise.

I fondly like the way this team is planned, there'll be lots of smart plays and a team that works exceptionally well together I think. Very well composed.

I'd be interested in how Mikko Lehtonen looks, he's an '05 that I would assume is a 1st day pick if there's a draft.

Perttu Lindgren and Miika Lahti may also be 1st day picks but all the others are playing in U19 or U20 teams...

I would say that keep an eye on Jonas Enlund (HIFK A-jun 06-pick), Jussi Peltomaa (Ässät A-jun), Miika Lahti (JYP A-jun), Perttu Lindgren (Ilves A-jun) and Juho Mielonen (A-jun).
Not to mention Mikko Lehtonen (Blues A-jun).
Lahti trained the summer with the JYP-team, he has attitude.
The others are if I´m correct Jesse Joensuu (06-pick , Ässät) and Teemu Laakso (Hifk A-jun) 05 first round pick.
But, don´t forget Sami-Petteri Sandell (WHL, Brandon Wheat Kings), played last year in Ilves A- and B-juniors. Potentential 05 first round pick.

Enlund: wasn't much of a factor and missed the last two games (sick)
Peltomaa: Got better as tournament went on. Was one of the most physical forwards and he skates well, and worked nicely with Lehtonen.
Lahti: Showed flashes of talent, but wasn't fast or strong enough to break through checks. Had Zero points in the tournament, despite playing first/second and powerplay. A disappointment
Pertti Lindgren: Was one of Findlands most efficient players. Smart. Quick. Good passer. Good shot. defensively responsible.
Mielonen: Didn't stand out. Barely noticed him.
Lehtonen: The most skilled player on team. Dominated ice at times. Has decent speed for a big guy. Good moves. Fierce. But he's a little selfish with the puck amd hurts his team when he's too fancy. He's got the tools to be a good NHLer, if he decides he wants to.

Sandell, Joenssuu and laakso did not play in this tournament.

Two defensemen, Tommi Leinonen and Mikael Kurki, really did an excellent job for your team, which won bronze by beating Switzerland 6-3

I don't know about the others but Lahti is just recovering from an injury. Still, no points with that kind of ice time, he was a disappointment.
