St. Louis really does have the most amazing goalie tandem in the league. Both Elliott & Halak have played a lot of games and have outstanding numbers. But alas, Geno doesn't care.

They might have to face an underrated L.A team, Colorado is no slouch and plays a tough game, Phoenix is great defensively and can surprise, and it is too early to count out the Sharks and all their veterans.
I would say St.Louis should be the most worried about playing L.A in the first round though.

LA Probably takes 3rd.
St.Louis will play one of Phoenix, Colorado, Dallas or San Jose.
Of those I only see Dallas or San Jose being a threat to anyone.

Don't underestimate the learning curve of a young talented team in the playoffs for the first time. I mean the players themselves, not the blues organization.

Jacques G 03-21-2012, 07:37 AM Tyler Kennedy will chest-snipe it straight into Halak, who will then have it slip out of his glove and bounce in. This will, in turn, prove 2 things:
(1) Kennedy's chest-snipe is effective.
(2) St. Louis needs to do a better job of preventing shots on net.
Alicat 03-21-2012, 07:37 AM Patrice Bergeron-Cleary.
