ESPN is reporting that Ricky Williams will be allowed to play this year should he serve out a 4 game suspension at the beginning of next month. This would allow him to continue the season. The deal made requires only Williams' approval.

Shoe the Dolphins in for a wildcard.

He's going to be rusty anyway, so I don't see the point in him playing for 2 games this season.

He probably won't be back this season.

Yahoo! Sports article: (http://sports.yahoo.com/nfl/news;_ylc=X3oDMTBpbmdmam0wBF9TAzI1NjY0ODI1BHNlYwN0 bQ--?slug=ap-rickywilliams-suspension&prov=ap&type=lgns)

My favourite part of the article:
"Williams is now about a month into a 17-month course at the California College of Ayurveda in Grass Valley, Calif., studying holistic medicine. "

I dont know what to think of this...Ricky was my favorite runningback prior to retiring...Now I dont know if I'm "happy" for his return or not this year...

safe to say that irregardless of his return his days are finished as a Dolphin.

Ricky won't be back this year. The league is allowing him to use the last four games of this year as his suspension games, clearing him to play in 2005.

its actually 32, but those are mostly backup players being broken in so they don't find themselves in too deep. The realistic age of a contributing member is around 34-36.

Thats pretty obvious. If I were a current member of the Dolphins, theres no way I want him on my team. Seems like the only reason he is coming back is to get $$$ to pay off his debts, and he might be running low on weed money too.

If he indeed does come back I say it takes him less than an hour to hurt his back and be done with Football forever.
