Crawford stands out as one of the best in the "Q". However, don't overlook Quebec's guy Joyal. He's solid as well, and plays behind a fairly young defensive group. Why did Lewiston give up Joyal so easily???

They drafted Jonathan Bernier. He's better.

Crawford is indeed quite good but its difficult to judge HOW good he is because he doesn't exactly face a ton of high quality shots on a given day. The Wildcats have been so dominant this year that Crawford usually doesn't face more than 20-25 shots, most of them really low quality (wrist shots from deep, non screened slappers from the point, etc).

Joyal was an average JR A goalie, Lewy had liek 5 guys in the crease at that time and Joyal was 4th on depth chart. They got a solid player for him considering they werent going to use him.
PLUS Quebec intended on him being the #2 behind Filiaterault. Sometimes goalies are a weird breed. Late bloomer maybe. He stole the #1 job and Fili was traded.
