Maybe not as glamorous, but Montreal can secure the 2nd pick overall with a loss and an Oilers win, the thing is we're playing the Leafs and the Oilers play the Canucks.

Not to be picky, but, Montreal would only secure no worse than the 3rd overall pick with your scenario. Columbus has secured no worse than the 2nd overall pick. Both teams could still lose the lottery and fall back one spot.
