It's a standard lockout deal: He'll leave right away if the NHL Starts up again or he'll stay until the end of the season.

He hasn't played a game yet so he has no uniform number listed as of yet

I guess he plays almost for noting, only because of friendship with Roman Turek. I guess he has his costs covered plus some insurance, but nohting more. Ceske Budejovice aren't so rich to afford to pay NHLer his regular salary. He is expected to play on saturday in game against our poor guys from Opava. This gonna be a real slaughter for us :)

Don't forget that salary information is rarely ever disclosed to the public in Europe. There is no NHLPA, so everything is kept private. It's great to not having salaries and finances so out in the open..in some respects...

Not if you are working with/for the team... :innocent:

Besides, we know Budejovice players get paid in Budvar beer :D

Ference is playing today. In fact, he scored. CEB Online Scoring (http://esports.cz/online/klubove/online_1789.asp?klub=ceb&frekvence=120) Other NHLers of note Roman Turek (recently signed if I read correctly), Radek Dvorak, and Vaclav Prospal (who leads CEB and the 1. league in scoring right now). I thought I also read something about Stan Neckar.

Neckar is about to join the team when he recovers from some minor injury. Also Radek Martinek from NYIslanders plays for Ceske Budejovice.
