Too bad about Brumby. Started off so well with that shutout for our first victory if I recall. But then he kept letting in like five goals every first period. Oh well. He can join Jefkins I guess.

At 5:16 of the third period, Purinton was assessed a five-minute major penalty and a game misconduct penalty under Rule 53(b) Elbowing.

Purinton is suspended six games under Rule 33A Supplemental Discipline.

Am I wrong, or did he try to kill somebody with a hit into the boards? Isn't Dale also famous for beating up a player so badly in Rangers' training camp that blood was splattered on the glass and the fellow went straight to hospital? What a classy guy.

I watched Alaska when they came to town on Friday, and I was shocked at the cheap garbage the Salmon Kings were dishing out that night. What a joke.
