San Francisco at New England.......Nothing to play for, but San Fran is the worst team in the league
Cleveland at Houston..........The Brownies want 2nd overall, and Houston isn't going to stop them
Green Bay at Chicago..........Once again, a team with nothing to play for, but Chicago can't even take advantage of that
New Orleans at Carolina..........The Panthers are headed to the playoffs!
Pittsburgh at Buffalo...........Steelies have nothing to play for, and Buffalo has everything to play for
Miami at Baltimore.........Another team with it all on the line, but it doesn't matter any
Minnesota at Washington..........They might not have the division title, but now, they have a wildcard birth
Detroit at Tennessee..........A very meaningless game, with Detroit coming out on top
NY Jets at St. Louis..........I hope the Rams win, but this week, they're playing a team who'll actually be playing them
Cincinnati at Philadelphia............Resting their starters, or not, the Eagles will still win
Atlanta at Seattle..........Vick's playing, so the Falcons will win
Tampa Bay at Arizona.........It's all for not now, but Tampa wins to close out yet another losing season
Kansas City at San Diego...........The Super Chargers have nothing to play for, and while the Chiefs don't either, they'll still win
Jacksonville at Oakland...........They'll win this week, but because of last week's terrible performance, they'll watch the second season at home
Indianapolis at Denver...........Indy's likely resting their starters so they don't show Denver too much, but Jake will blow it anyway
Dallas at NY Giants..........Eli ends his horrible season with a win over Big D

So, the playoffs will look like:

NFC
North: Green Bay
East: Philadelphia
West: Seattle
South: Atlanta
WC: Minnesota
WC: Carolina

AFC
North: Pittsburgh
East: New England
West: San Diego
South: Indianapolis
WC: New York
WC: Buffalo

So in the first round, in the NFC, Green Bay plays Carolina, and Seattle plays Minnesota. In the AFC, Indianapolis plays Buffalo, and San Diego plays New York.

How does the common games tie-breaker work?

I noticed that the Jets are tied with Buffalo in head-to-head and divisional records and have an advantage in conference record, but the common games takes priority over conference. Do game locations matter in common games or is it strictly whether a team beat or lost to a certain team and the other club did or didn't?

eg. if Buffalo beat Pittsburgh at home next week and New York lost to Pittsburgh in Pittsburgh, does that count as a common game?

Sorry if I'm hijacking a thread, I just know that it's a popular one and I want to get a response for someone who may know something.

If Jets, Bills and Broncos finish at 10-6 (jets loss, bills and broncos win) The Jets MISS the playoffs :cry: Bills beat Jets in divison tiebreaker. They are tied in divison record, next tie breaker is common games, and the bills win that.

Cleveland at Houston....Houston will make the playoffs next year
Green Bay at Chicago...No Urlacher=Bears D sucks
New Orleans at Carolina....Panthers complete the comeback to make the playoffs
Pittsburgh at Buffalo....No Ben, No Bettis, should be easy for the Bills
Miami at Baltimore....Ravens are going to be trying to keep their slim hopes alive
Minnesota at Washington...Vikings cant choke two years in a row
Detroit at Tennessee...Lions are a team on the rise
NY Jets at St. Louis...I just cant see the Jets losing this game
Cincinnati at Philadelphia....Upset, but I dont see the Eagles playing their starters past half time, while the Bengals have been pretty good lately
Atlanta at Seattle....I like the Hawks at home, dont see Vick playing much

The Vikings were the far better team going into Arizona last year with a win and theyre in mentality and that didnt work out too well. Rams play a lot better at home as well so the Jets are going to have a tough game. It's not gonna be a lock of the week.....like your jets over the Pats pick last week. ;)
