Emeka Okafor 27gp 15.8pts 11.6reb 1.3blks, had something like 15 straight double-doubles until tonite
Dwight Howard 28gp 10.5pts 10.1 rebs 1.8blk,awesome start for a 18 year old,has played a role in there big improvement over last years debacle
Ben Gordon 27gp 13.0pts 45% 3PT 83% FT, doesnt pass but has played a role in helping turn Chicago around after a real crappy start

Im sure im missing a few other honorable mentions but Emeka Okafor is the best of the bunch so far and im sure hell continue his pace and definitly get better and better, i definitly saw him becoming an Alonzo Mourning type when he was drafted and i think hes definitly on that track maybe not quite as offensively gifted though

Isn't it amazing how the top draft picks each year end up being the best players in the end in the NBA? It's completely different from the crapshoot drafts of the NHL and MLB, and NFL to a less extent.

Matt Bonner ;) hehe... nawww

Emeka Okafor, easily. he'll be soo valuable to the Bobcats. No offense to Orlando but they should have taken Okafor with the first.

He means the majority of the time. There are exceptions to everything.

He should be on the all rookie team for sure... who would have thought a big white guy would play so well? :lol

i totally agree with the comparisons with Zo. I think you might be surprise with his offensive abilities. His footwork is too good not to have his offense improve with good coaching especially in the post. I'm not saying he is going to be a Garnett but he will be better than Zo in his prime offensively.

As another poster said, Mek by a MILE!!!
