Hungary played Czechoslovakia 5 times, 4 wins and one tie, last game was played 27.2.1937, hungarian goalie Hirszak (Levente Szuper of that time) was in the net. so, 68 years dude:)

I always thought you gave them that victory on purpose. That you over the years love them so much you just could not resist making them happy. Oh well, my bad :lol :lol

Youre back to the boards after a LONG time it seems.

TO be true, there were rumours that the players betted on themselves losing (so betting that HUN wins) and then played to lose. The rumour says that one player got 200,000 SVK this way. But its a rumour.

Even if not brothers, they look awfully alike.

You missed me, didīnt you? :) To the topic though... I actually had no idea that something like bribes are a part of life in this part of Europe ;) :D
Now for real...Who would be the generous sole paying such somes of money for such an insignificant result?

Itīs ********. Everytime some result like that shows up, people start talking this way. It must have been painful for the Slovaks to lose to such lousy opposition so great myths started to spread...I would maybe start some myself if it was the Czech team ;)
