I think it would be interesting. 6th Sense was good. Signs was OK.

Unbreakable was incredible. I think is is one of the best movies of the past 10 years. Sadly, very few people share this opinion.

Interesting to say the least.

(Bredan Fraser though??)

I myself would love to see them make "The Dark Knight Returns."

Say it ain't so...

Please no....

I'm not a fan of Shymalan at all.

The Sixth Sense was a great movie, but since then it's gone down hill, partially because all of his movies have the same recipe wrapped in a different foil.

I found Unbreakable to be horrible, I can't fathom the fact that you think it's one of the best in the last ten years.

Signs i was also disapointed by. It started off well, but went downhill quickly.

Did anyone see the link further down the page reporting that Bruce Campbell is playing a bad guy in Spiderman 2? I hadn't heard that before.

Spiderman 2 comes out on my 16th birthday - May 7, 2004

I'm no fan of him atall. His technique is simple : have a few plot twists to justify an hour and a half of " just happened ? why am I so depressed ... I hate myself.....uh.....oh my god......the world is horrible.....ugh......wugh.....guh.....muh....*gau lks at linolium tile for 10 minutes I'd rather be on the crapper producing the same thing as this movie*"

What's the twist this time, Clark Kent really is gay?

Bruce Campbell has a role in Spiderman 2, but he is not the "main" villian. That would be Doctor Octopus, played by Alfred...M...M-something.

Adding more Bruce Campbell is always a good thing.

Unbreakable was great.

Sixth Sense was overrated.

Signs was awful.

Doesn't it come out on July 2nd?

great.. so now we have Encino Man playing Clark Kent..
they are just going to ruin Superman now.. oh well.. it could be a "stragit to video" type of movie.. especially if they still have Beyonce as Lois Lane

Shyamalan doing Superman?

I can't even bear to imagine what kind of "twist" he'd put on the superman story. Ummm, sorry're actually not the real superman, but you're in fact Bizarro. You just think you're superman. And Lex Luthor has actually been dead for a while, but due to the effects of red kryptonite, you can see dead people.

I'm sorry, but I thought Unbreakable was boring as hell. Good concept, but I think Shyamalan was trying a little too hard on that one.

Fraser's an interesting choice. He's done some good dramatic work, and looks the All-American part, so I don't think he's a stretch as Superman at all. As for Shyamalan as the director, I like his work, but wonder what kind of spin he would put on the character, if any. It would probably be darker than what most envision, and IMO that's a good thing.

I actually heard many rumours of darren aronofsky *requiem for a dream, pi, below* directing the new batman movie... which would have been AMAZING. but i haven't heard anything since... :dunno:

Bruce Willis as Jor-El?

Superman is a stupid money grab by the industry. They are going to try and recreate the Spiderman phenomenon, and they will fail miserably. Superman is way too two-dimentional a character for them to be able to do anything good with him. I expect this movie to be as bad if not worse than Superman 4 "The Quest for Peace"...
