Dr Love 01-21-2005, 05:41 PM Jim Jackson, continuing his quest to play for every NBA team there is. Jaysfanatic* 01-21-2005, 05:41 PM Jim Jackson, continuing his quest to play for every NBA team there is. and by god he's goin to do it! Dr Love 01-21-2005, 05:42 PM and by god he's goin to do it! Next year he should just sign a series of 10 day contracts with all the remaining teams he hasn't played for. Galiza_Rules 01-21-2005, 05:45 PM A second round pick goes to Suns too: To NO: Vroman, Lampe and Jacobsen To PHO: Jackson and 2nd round pick in next draft. As blah said with jackson they can replace J. Johnson because they want to trade him for Samuel Dalembert to make the team stronger in center position. Jaysfanatic* 01-21-2005, 05:50 PM Next year he should just sign a series of 10 day contracts with all the remaining teams he hasn't played for. Well, as long as he's not like Jerome Moiso.....signs 10 day contract with NJ, gets released by NJ, sings another 10 day contract with NJ.....wtf. Bobby Ryan Getzlaf 01-21-2005, 05:53 PM Jackson should've suited up for one game with N'Arlins, just to put them on the list. Then go away and get them to trade you. Missed the opportunity there, Jimmy. Impossibles 01-21-2005, 05:59 PM Holy crap, you guys are right. By my count, including the Hornets (not sure if he played a game this year or not for them), he's played for 10 teams! This will be his 11th. leafaholix* 01-21-2005, 05:59 PM lol, Maciej Lampe was supposed to be a top 5 pick in 2003. Goes to show what mock drafts mean. Teams were scared off by a potential buy-out issue w/ his Euro team. Impossibles 01-21-2005, 06:25 PM 12th according to TSN Did you count Atlanta both times? Bruinaholic 01-21-2005, 06:39 PM Works out well for both teams IMO..... NO gets 3 young players that if nothing else bring depth for now and the future(Lampe is 19, and the other 2 are 23 off the top of my head) Suns get a good 7thman off the bench,he can still pop is 10-12 points in 24 mins of spot duty. On that Joe Johnson for Dalembert rumor,id pass if i were PHX,id rather wait and trade for someone like Jamaal Magliore when hes healthy...Joe Johnson(only 23) is a very good young G and Dalembert has sucked bad this year. blah 01-21-2005, 07:06 PM Dalembert is the perfect fit at center for the Suns. Jaysfanatic* 01-21-2005, 07:32 PM Did you count Atlanta both times? I didn't count, it's just from what I read on TSN. Lessy 01-21-2005, 08:19 PM Works out well for both teams IMO..... I agree, I think the Suns would be able to do better than Joe Johnson for Samuel Dalambert. Dalambert has slumped this year, and I think they could land a more proven centre for Johnson. Dark Knight 01-21-2005, 08:35 PM I have no respect for Jackson for what he showed in his place. Not a sportsman but a whiner. Cerebral 01-22-2005, 02:14 AM Lampe could put up some surprisingly decent stats for the remainer of the season if he gets some minutes. I still think he can be a fairly productive NBA player eventually once he matures a bit and starts to figure out his game. The main reason why he dropped in the draft was the ridiculous buy out that his former team was supposedly requesting... Snugglepuss 01-22-2005, 11:44 AM This would be his 12th team if you count New Orleans 1.Dallas 2.New Jersey 3.Philly 4.Golden State 5.Portland 6.Atlanta 7.Cleveland 8.Miami 9.Sacremento 10.Miami 11.(New Orleans) 12.(Phoenix) | ||
