Hi I was just wondering if anyone was going to to tune into the Turin 2006 qualifying games this weekend. If you live in Japan they will be brodcast on ESPN Japan (chan. 300 - skyperfectTV) Their are three games, Feb 26, 27,28. I cant read japanese very well so I wasnt able to catch who Japan will be playing and when, one of the games though is against Norway. I saw on the euro board the Norweagians are really up for these games. Gambate Nippon! :handclap:

Yes a full two weeks, such is the state and importance of hockey in Japan. :shakehead I dont know who wins and what the scores are so please dont tell me! Japan vs Norway is tonight on ESPN Japan. I guess its not that important to anyone else on the world board eather as no one posted anything about it two weeks ago, sigh... Dont I look like the villege idiot now :dunce:

it's all good, J-man... daijobu...
look how much the popularity of the sport has increased in Nippon compared to even as recently as '98 Nagano... Shjon Podein is looking into ownership (or part ownership) of a team in Tokyo and he's not the only one looking into an affiliation, so better days are coming.
