Very disturbing if this is in fact true. Another black mark on the game of hockey. Can't believe a coach would put a bounty on someone's head. Just because Kevin Kerr spoke out against NHL'ers playing in the UHL. This could have turned into another Bertuzzi/Moore incident. At least the players had some sense.

JUst had a chance to read this and the following struck me:
"Nothing ended up happening. Most of the players realized that is not the way to conduct yourself as a professional,'' Tull said.

Maybe I am carrying on a conversation with myself here :lol: but hey, this is a story worth following.

Most recently that I have seen: the current issue of THN has comments from Barry Melrose threatening to pull the Adirondack Frostbite (which he co-owns with Steve Levy, also an ESPN broadcaster) after "The Bounty" (wouldn't that make a great movie title? :lol: ) and the latest round of ugly incidents including Danbury's Chad Wagner's lifetime suspension from the UHL for bumping/pushing Frostbite coach Marc Potvin during a game.
