Go Petes Lessy 03-15-2005, 04:19 PM I for one am not a fan of Kaleta's. While he is a good hitter, he has frequently hit our smaller players and ran from a bigger guy that would be looking for a fight. Hmm...Kaleta rubs me the wrong way the way he plays the game. msconduct 03-15-2005, 09:46 PM Easily the best hitter in the East, probably in the OHL. His hits are for the most part clean and hard. I'm a 67's fan come first, but I have had the opportunity to see many Petes games this season. I have gained a new respect for him and a lot of the team in general. Easily the Petes MVP this season as he seemed to be last season as well. Plays with heart and grit. I would be greatful to see him make the Sabres lineup. Only problem is that he backs down from fights he starts, which actually you can't complain about when he's drawing powerplays for your team. All teams have a player like that. Kaleta is definitely not a fighter, nor should he start. I would love to have Kaleta on my team. He reminds me a bit like Steve Ott. Tough player, great hitter, not a fighter, and has enough talent to make the show.
