zoidberg 09-22-2003, 07:21 PM WCE not playing.
MCI line not playing.
Flames will win, because Zoidberg is great.
Discuss!
(how zoidberg and the Flames are great)
Avery4Byng* 09-22-2003, 07:26 PM 8-1 canucks????? :D
Jewelly 09-22-2003, 07:31 PM If the Canucks put in another lacklustre effort like they did tonight: Flames 6 'Nucks 1.
If they decide to show up and get more than dozen shots: Flames will still run (literally) over the 'Nucks and win. Flames 4 'Nucks 2.
Either way it'll be a rough game; it always is when these two teams meet... fights, penalties, spearing, eye gouging etc.
The Flames are a very tenacious team and have given the Canucks fits for a while. I don't expect that to change tomorrow although I'm still hoping. :p
thecanucker 09-22-2003, 07:32 PM 5-1 Canucks
Mr. Noodles will be in net for the Flames tomorrow.
All I have to say is, pre-season sucks.

Excatly, pre-season means absolutely nothing, most of the veterans are just skating around and trying to avoid injury. In truth i much rather have Canucks going 10 loss in 10 pre-season games than to have any injury. 3 to 4 pre-season games are more than enough.

Laugh. I bought four tickets to the Calgary game tomorrow and now I find out that Bertuzzi-Morrison-Nalund ain't playing and neither is Cloutier.
Then I learn Iggy ain't playing either.
Oh well. I guess I will get a really good look at a bunch of rookies. All for $60 a pop (that's $240.00 to watch a bunch of 2nd and 3rd line players.)
Good grief.
WCE not playing.
MCI line not playing.
Irrelevant. The only thing that matters is that the A.S.S. line is playing. Therefore, Canucks win. :yo:

If the A.S.S. line doesnt produce this year I think 2 of the ASS's could be on their way outta town... I hope :dunno:
Broda 09-22-2003, 09:19 PM Ill be at the game...

Hopefully the Canucks will win.

Good grief.Yeah, that's a bummer Peter but somehow I think that you won't be disappointed b/c the 'stars' were playing as though they're saving themselves for the regular season anyway... they wouldn't want to break a nail you know.
I think the you'll enjoy watching the young ones. The Sedins and Magnus will be good to see and Cooke is always fun to watch.
Have a really good time and remember: NO STREAKING! However, if you do plan to bare it all... make sure you're wearing a Flames jersey so you don't em-bare-ass us. :joker:

incawg 09-23-2003, 04:06 PM CKNW reports that scouts from 12 teams are in attendance tonight. Probably nothing important but I thought I'd pass that along.
LaVal 09-23-2003, 04:12 PM WOOHOO Henrik
Edler Statesman* 09-23-2003, 04:14 PM Lindgren is wearing the C tonight :dunno:
incawg 09-23-2003, 04:17 PM Lindgren is wearing the C tonight :dunno:
I put him on the third line with linden and cooke in ESPN NHL Hockey and he's racking up a boatload of points. Good omen? :rolly:
Burke's Evil Spirit 09-23-2003, 04:18 PM Tom Larscheid confuses Robyn Regehr (an actual Flames defender) for Darcy Regier (Sabres' GM).
Man, he needs to get syphilis or something.
LaVal 09-23-2003, 04:20 PM Man, he needs to get syphilis or something.
you are not wishing syphilis on our beloved Larscheid are you?
Jewelly 09-23-2003, 05:14 PM Lindgren is wearing the C tonight :dunno:Yes and apparently he was so thrilled that he got his pic taken with the 'C' on. Seems like such an all around nice guy.
I didn't catch who Shorty said showed up at camp out of shape?
Jewelly 09-23-2003, 05:28 PM Moss is getting peppered.
Canucks need to get stop taking so many penalties.
Too late.
2-1 Flames.
LaVal 09-23-2003, 05:29 PM has there been any 5 on 5?
Jewelly 09-23-2003, 05:30 PM Uh oh. 3-1 Flames.
5 straight pp for the Flames.
LaVal 09-23-2003, 05:32 PM is it OK to complain about the reffing in the pre-season? :D
Jewelly 09-23-2003, 05:33 PM My goodness that goal announcer is extremely annoying. He reminds me of that guy that calls the Oilers game; too forced.
6th pp coming up.
C'nuckleHead 09-23-2003, 05:42 PM Are we missing Baron's penalty killing yet? :p
nucks2001 09-23-2003, 05:43 PM is Koltsov playing?
Jewelly 09-23-2003, 06:11 PM is Koltsov playing?I think he slept in.
Jewelly 09-23-2003, 06:18 PM One more goal from the Canucks and I'll have my prediction right. :D
