Fukufuji

Last week at the Bakersfield vs Las Vegas game Condor's goaltender Fukufuji was injured. I had planned on e-mailing the Bakersfield staff and seeing if he was okay until I looked at the article about the game on their web site(The article can be found on thier website: www.bakersfieldcondors.com). Now, I must say I really lost all respect for the Bakersfield team. They made it a point to say that the Wranglers have injured 7 of the Condors this season. Making it sound as though we intentionally go out to try to hurt them. This is pure crap. I have been at almost all of the Wranglers game this season and last. I can honestly say we have, with maybe the exception of Billy Tibbetts, never gone out to try and hurt a player on an opposing team.

As a hockey fan I am wondering if anyone has any news about how badly Fukufuji was hurt.

As a Wranglers fan I would like to say that the press for Bakersfield should put aside thier bias and report what happens at a game, instead of making the opposing team look like a bunch of goons out to hurt someone.

They have to blame someone, they're going to go from 2nd place to 5th and miss the playoffs all in a span of 3 weeks. They didn't put him on IR so it must not be too bad.

I saw the game Fukufuji got injured and our player had been run into the net by a Condors d-man. It was a freak accident and it looked like every other common collision at the net.

And, yeah, about the fall of Bakersfield from a dominant spot in first, the thing is that they opened up their season largely at home and against relatively easy teams. They were a good team this year, but I thought the entire division, after Victoria, was about even on paper. They could have finished anywhere from 1st to 7th. Same with everyone else.
