Right now, I dont think he'll make the team...partly b/c 1) he could use some more seasoning in the AHL. 2) He needs to get bigger, and 3) No room. Too many forwards as is.

I definately see a NHL future in him, though, just not right away. I see him becoming a good 2nd liner or a very good 3rd liner. He seems like a smart guy who is pretty good at both ends of the ice.

I don't think he'll make the team just yet, although that could change by later on in the year. Based on his skill and what he brings to the table, I see him as a capable second/third liner if he hits his potential. 20 goals and 50-60 points. As well, I'd like to add that Quinn loves to have a utility guy. Players who can play in all situations and any forward position. I have a feeling Stajan may become that player once Green is no longer in the organization's plans.

Based strictly on his training camp so far, he could have an excellent shot at the team. He could play on the third line with Roberts and Neuiwendyk. But i am also Stajan Fan so i might be overreacting to his training camp.

at least your honest about the overreacting part....I'm sure he will see some games this year but he will start the season on the Rock with the rest of the youngsters.

To me Stajan has played well and showed a lot of potential at camp.

But we don't need to rush him. I'd like to see him play in St. John's and build up his confidence.

Maybe half way through the year he might get an opportunity to play. But I have no problem with him spending the whole year in St. John's.

1) He probably won't make the team this year unless a couple fowards are moved, and even then there are people ahead of him in the depth chart (like Holden).

2) I doubt he'd crack the top 6 if he got called up this year

3) He should be the Leafs second line center. Being a 3rd liner would be waist of his offensive ability.

If he is being groomed for the second line centre spot, does that leave Antropov available to be traded?
