He wore #26 for the tournament a couple months ago,
now I see he is wearing #8 for the current tournament.
Which # should I get on my new soon to be mine,

I can tell you that he will not be wearing #8 next year with Minnesota because it is retired. He as already stated that #26 will be fine with him.
