Is there any program that would let me save the audio (into mp3, wma, etc) from a video file?

eg 1.) Playing a flash video at www.homestarrunner.com and recording the audio off of that.
or
eg 2.) Playing a divx video on my computer and recording the audio from that.

Any help would be really appreciated. Thanks in advance :)

i just picked up this thing called ALL2Wave on download.com. It converts anything playingo n your ocmputer to a wav file with decent quality, though files can be large. It's a bit of a pain to configure, but i've been enjoying free downloads of internet radio with it :)

Thanks a lot, wingram75. I'll check it out.

Edit: Do I need a microphone for this program to work?

no, just set it up to record from other devices by selecting the right capture device.
