Thanks Doesn't really matter, as Peterborough is going to win it all anyway. :handclap: Tom Big Deaner 04-28-2005, 03:23 PM Although I'm a big Brandon fan, I'm gonna go with Kelowna. They just have too much depth and they have a stud d-man in Weber. I think it will be Kelowna v. Brandon in the finals and Kelowna will take it in 6 games. Hope I'm wrong though. allin4466 04-28-2005, 03:36 PM Although I'm a big Brandon fan, I'm gonna go with Kelowna. They just have too much depth and they have a stud d-man in Weber. I was thinking that if brandon could squeeze this one out in 5 games.. get out to kelowna asap and have time to get rid of the jet leg.. they could probably take the whl finals as they would be mildly rested and kelowna and kootenay seemed determined to beat the piss out of each other. Lard_Lad 04-28-2005, 08:15 PM It's shaping up as a really good Memorial Cup. If Kelowna and Rimouski make it through, it'll be the defending champs, the team with the highest-profile player in the country, and a host team ranked #1 overall. Even if Ottawa gets blown out by everybody, that's still a great 3-way race. sbtatter 04-28-2005, 10:37 PM I'd like to say Brandon, but my money's on Kelowna CurtisJD13 04-29-2005, 01:40 PM Go Ice!!! Yeah, I'm pulling for Kootenay...but reality check is Kelowna has the best team. When Weber's in the lineup, few if any are as powerful. KRF 04-29-2005, 02:03 PM kelowna is firing on all cylinders right now, if they can win tonite they would be well rested for the final. brandon and pa are at least going to six games and maybe seven then one of them have to come all the way to kelowna. i don't know if they have the money to fly but i would bet that kelowna will fly to pa or brandon. Rooselk 04-30-2005, 12:53 PM I'm pulling for the Ice as well. But it still looks like Kelowna despite the last second heroics by Kootenay last night. CurtisJD13 05-02-2005, 10:29 AM Kelowna did it...but it was a nail biter from what I've read. Youreallygotme 05-02-2005, 11:41 PM I have a feeling it will end up like this: London goes undefeated, gets the bye. Rimouski gets 2nd Kelowna gets 3rd Ottawa goes winless Kelowna beats Rimouski in the SF using physical play on you know who - hey Weber has played with Crosby, and if anybody can shut him down, its Webs. Kelowna forwards are also the most responsible of any team in the CHL, they know what it takes from last year. Then London wins the final, but it's a close, gritty battle. maybe an overtime game too. Man this is going to be an amazing Memorial cup(unless Brandon or Prince Albert squeak by Kelowna, which wont be happening  ) Youreallygotme 05-02-2005, 11:43 PM Kelowna did it...but it was a nail biter from what I've read. The Ice were a great team, Kelowna won it on experience and it couldve gone either way, especially if Dawes had played. | ||
