Hi, I'm looking for scouting reports on these two lesser-known Duck prospects...maybe someone here could help me out? Thanks in advance.

Tabacek was injured for most of last year, so it's hard to say how he did. Only played 14 games, and 2 of them were in the ECHL.
Chagodayev isn't really even considered a prospect for the Ducks, he's never been signed and the Ducks have never shown interest in signing him. He's getting spot duty in the Russian leagues but is unimpressive

I am pretty sure that we don't even have the rights to chagodayev anymore.

Tabacek returned to Europe, Chagodayev didnt turn out to be much of a prospect for a fourth rounder...from the same draft the Ducks took Brian Gornick in the 9th round of the same draft (a fairly good prospect in the AHL) and Petr Tenkrat in the 8th round (atleast he played in the NHL for awhile)

while were on the subject...
whats going on with

Vladimir Korsunov?

Korsunov should come over the pond soon
He's playing good hockey and the only thing that holds him back from stepping in the roster is he's unfamiliar with North American games
He's still young though and last year he battled injury, but I would wait at least another year before writing him off
Also, the fact that Popovic won't crack our top 7 because of our depth doesn't bode well for Korsunov who is a physical stay at homer

yeah...Ive been picturing him as similiar to Vish...but not quite as good...which means he will definetly have a tough time playing in the NHL since Vish is a #6 d-man.

do you know for sure if we no longer have NHL rights to Tabacek and Chagodayev?

I think we still have their rights
but I doubt we'll ever see them in Anaheim

(for arguments sake, we still have the rights to Niemi, Parssinen and Ronnqvist as well)
