I saw newly retired ref. Paul Stewart the other day, and he was pleased to say that he's now working for the Bruins. He was really really proud to be working for the home team. I asked what he was doing and he said he'd be heading up the B's charities. I wish him, the B's, and the many charities they help out the best of luck. He's a great choice. :)

He gave me one of his NHL ref business cards. On one side was the 50 Bay St. NHL Refs' info...on the other was his home address and A PICTURE OF THREE BLIND MICE ON SKATES IN REFS' JERSEYS!!!! LOL!!!

wow..don't know how I missed this thread..

Stewie has to be one of the best "characters" in the game...

I love when he's interviewed... He must be a balst to shoot the breeze with over a few cold ones..

I wish he'd write a book of his time in the league..

Anyway.. good health and retirement to him !

If Stewart ever wrote a book, I'd pick it up in a heartbeat

I believe "Three Blind Mice" was a business venture Stewart had a few years ago. He may still have it. It made and distributed hockey T-shirts, caps, etc.

I met him at lunch one summer at the Eire Pub in Dorchester. He's a fine person and will be sorely missed in the NHL.
