The Song Remains the Same - Led Zeppelin - was originally an instrumental, but Plant added lryics after the song was basically finished.
White Summer - Bert Jansch I think. Also Jimmy Page popularized it with Yardbirds and Zeppelin.
Black Mountain Side - Also Bert Jansch I think, but it originally had words and it was called "Black Water Side."
I really like almost any Led Zeppelin instrumental type song. Dazed and Confused is awesome, Moby Dick, Swan Song - Originally Led Zeppelin, but Page brought what he had to The Firm where it became "Midnight Moonlight" and had a crappy singer sing some lyrics. I really loved that song before I heard The Firm's version with the lyrics. Over nine minutes of mostly singing. IMO it ruined the song.
