is there a player in this year's q draft that is similiar to the ohl's john tavares
or is there a player that could emerge as the best player hands down lb for lb but is unheralded not really getting much press

patrice cormier is in the same boat as tavares. he's underage but its been rumoured that some teams want to get the Q to adopt the "tavares rule" so they can take him this year.

People who haven't seen Tavares play put a lot of pressure on the kid, by saying he's going to be a superstar. In fact, Bob McKenzie saw him play A LOT and said that he's not going to be a phenom. He's a very good player, but not a phenom. It's just that the draft pool for this year in the OHL is very thin. He's the best player available, even underaged, because of it.
