Yes. Several. Last one in college though. Usually about nothing. Almost always involved the consumption of adult beverages.

Three in high school. Funnily enough, none involved alcohol. All were actually at school. All of them were over something small and dumb, definately not worth fighting about. My record is two wins and a draw.

got into a fight? if so, what about.

Lots time times when I was in elementary school and junior high. A few times in high school. Often times I'd be playing some type of sport when it would start. Fighting with my own teammates sometimes ...and, of course, the opposing team's players. :)

In high school I got into a few when I was drinking. A couple times it was because I'd find out a guy tried to pick up my girlfriend. I had a bad temper. The drugs and alcohol didn't help.

Got into about 4 fights during my 20s ...all because of alcohol. All of them took place either inside or outside of a bar. :p

I don't drink hard liquor anymore. The times I got into those fights were because of hard liquor. I tend to get a little crazy off the hard stuff.

Just beer for me now. I'm a happy boy if I stick to the beer.

I only fight bears, anything else is not much of a challenge.

I have gotton into a few fights at school, one I lost by a mile (I made the mistake of trying to walk away because I wasn't in the mood, and by the time I was I had already taken quite a beating although I got in a few good shots at the end). I also got into a fight with one of my friends and I beat him pretty easily. We are still friends now, of course. I have also had a few very serious fights with my brothers (I'm 17, they are 20 and 25). Most have been against Dan (20). a couple of years ago we really got into it and I was doing pretty good considering he was much stronger and larger, until I made the mistake of putting my head down and he kneed me in the face a couple of times and the fight was over as far as I'm concerned. The last time was a few months ago when we fought once again and he just started punching me in the back of the head and I turned around and returned the favour. I won that fight (the first time against my brother, probably because that was the first time I fought him when I was slightly bigger and stronger than him) but I also ended up missing him and putting my hand through the wall. I had to do some dry walling that weekend. ;) I have also seen some pretty good fights (mostly at school).

Me and friends would always wrestle and sometimes get a little more violent, that's how Alaskans are.

But as to serious fights (like those schoolyard romps shown in Bumfights), I've never been in one. I've never pissed anybody off that bad and nobody ever screwed with me or pushed me around, if they did I was too intoxicated or lazy to recognize it and they sat there like that moron in Tombstone trying to have a one-sided gunfight.

Somebody gives you the stiff shoulder, you kick em in the ass, and it was usually always just a joke.

I don't drink, so I can't blame it on the alcohol. I usually don't start fights (just one in high school, which I won) but in in grades 4-8 I started almost all my fights (if you can call them that) and only lost one, but it was a small school (about 200 kids).

One good one I got into was with some guy who looked like he was in his 40s. I was around 23 or 24 at the time.

Got into it with him in the men's washroom at a bar. Ended up smashing a urinal. I had to pay for that too. :(

Pretty even fight. I can't really remember what happened though. Not the fine details.

That night, from what I remember, I drank a quart of vodka and a pitcher of beer. After that I was fit to be tied. :p

Never again will I drink hard liquor.

That urinal cost me something like 300 bucks.

Plenty but not as much lately.........Did so alot as a kid.........

My last one was at the start of this Summer where I was visiting someone at a Seniors Centre and they had their own Bingo Hall there and some young punk was giving the Seniors in here a hard time especially the old lady calling out the Bingo ball numbers........I looked around the room and I was the only young guy in there besides the punk so I felt I had to do something..........at the very least I felt that I should go up to the guy and tll him to leave the Seniors alone...which I did and then as I was turning away from him he sucker punched me and I dropped to the Floor like a sack of potatoes..........then I got up quickly and tackled him to the floor and there I was on top of him just pounding away at his head.........It took about 20 Seniors in there to pull me off of the guy including one guy in a wheel chair.......when I got up from ontop of the punk the guy was just LAYING there and he was out like a lamp.........I was scared s...less because I thought that maybe I had just killed the guy but after a few minutes the guy regained consciousness and they had to go call an Ambulance for him because I busted up his nose pretty bad and his left eye was swelled up shut.......I left there as quickly as I could cause I didn't want to get into any trouble with the Law.............

I have a cousin who got in a fight with his sister's boyfriend (he was about 24 at the time and his younger brother 13). Anyways, all three of them were drunk, and Shayne (24) hit his sister's boyfriend (Jared, I think) in the stomach and then once inthe face. Well, Jared's jaw was broken so Matt (13) drove him from Bancroft to his home in Ottawa (about a three hour drive) while he was @#$% drunk and only 13. How he made it there alive I'll never know.

"It took about 20 Seniors in there to pull me off of the guy including one guy in a wheel chair......."

I love it!

2 fights. 1 resulting in suspension the other resulting in the kid getting a nasty cut on his head.

09-25-2003, 08:42 PM
I've gotten in a couple minor scuffles. In public school I tossed a kid around in the mud. In highschool some hot-headed kid jumped me. Grade nine I got into a shoving match with another ******** which ended quickly after I threw him up against a table and were threatened with suspensions. A couple shoving matches in roller hockey and ice hockey.

Now aday's I just mind my own business. I go to a pretty big school. Im sure if I went looking for a scrap, I could find it easily, but like I said - just mind your own business because you don't want to start anything with the wrong guy.

The last time I got into a fight was grade 10.

Oh hell yea I forgot about my hockey fights. :)

Freshman year, our team crossed paths with the other team on the way to the locker room. We had 3 freshmen on our team (this is varsity), this big kid from the other team decides to be a punk and shoves one of the freshman out of his way so he just punches him in the face and we end up brawling. Took maybe 10-15 minutes to get everything under control again. Great memory for me.

I've gotten in a few fights on ice, two are ones I'll never forget. This kid on our team had his body turned towards the boards with his head down battling for the puck, eventually he gets over powered and is shoved down to the point where he's on his knees. As he's getting up, the puck still around his feet, he's bent towards the boards, this goon comes up to him completely out of nowhere and shoved his head straight into the boards. I swear I thought he snapped his neck. It was so violent, I couldn't believe what I saw. The sound of it was loud as well. As anyone would expect, our entire team jumped the kid and really messed him up. He ended up being suspended for the remainder of the season. The kid on our team got whiplashed but other then that he was alright thankfully.

The second one was in my senior year. Our best player at the time had a hat trick, not much time left in the third period and us leading by a huge margin. We were wasting time skating all over with the puck, not making any rushes, stayed mostly in our zone. We got a little careless and lost the puck. Kevin (the player), ended up stripping the puck from their defenseman and was on a breakaway but instead he went to the corner and just stood their for a couple seconds waiting for someone to get a pass from him to avoid further embarrassment for the other team, what happens next, a player of theirs tries to hit him, doesn't get good contact and takes baseball like cut on the back of Kevin's knee. He immediately went down screaming and the kid had the balls to stand there over him and stare down. Well he got what was coming for him and more.

two fights

1) 6th grade, playing contact soccer at recess, guy tries to check me into the fence, i duck so he goes flying into the fence face first, he gets pissed and tries to fight me but it was more of a strangling match between us before a teacher broke it up

2) 9th grade, my friend was in trouble from a guy twice his size, i chucked a huge iceball at the back of the head of the guy threatening him, he fell to the ground, got up and charged me, and we just fell to the ground and hit eachother a little bit, then my friend came to help me and the other guy just kinda hurried away

The last fight I had was in grade three. Kid chucked a soccer ball at me so I knocked him down. I have no reason to fight as I get along with everyone well.

Three fight's during high school, a bunch when I played hockey and every now and then at work I might have to get into it with someone. The one's that happen while I am working never involve me throwing any punches though, just very hard take down's. When I was in grade 9 I fought a grade 12(he was picking on me), he was alot bigger but I gave him all he could handle. I didn't win but I didn't lose either, well at least not as bad as I probably should have. In grade 11 some clown threw a basketball at my head so I broke his nose and my hand. We were both suspended for three day's. He came after me the first day back from suspension. He though it was a fluke that I handed him his ass the first time so he tried it again and I beat him with my cast, which wasn't good for my broken hand or his broken nose. That led to a one week suspension and a talking to by the police for both of us.

define beat?? ;)

got into one fight when i was 15 in a bench clearing for baseball
another one got into a fight when i was like 22 when my friend was hitting on a girl and this other guy was hitting on the same girl so a big fight broke out...

09-26-2003, 09:56 AM
Yes a couple. All in my highschool years though. Mostly girl fights (I've never been hit though). And one guy I knocked out two of his teeth. And I punched another guy in the face only because after telling me to do it about 200 times and I kept saying I didn't want to hit him, well then he dared me....... He never asked me to hit him since.

I might add that I was drunk in everyone of these fights.

Been in many, many, many fights when I was younger. Going to an all boys school in Belfast will do that to you though.

Only been in five since moving to Canada 1990, one at a go-kart track with a security guard, one at a bar where a guy was harrassing one of my female friends, one at work with a rather perturbed client (work in a finance company and he didn't appreciate the garnishment on his wages), one at a pool hall where a guy in the next table kept jabbing me with his pool cue and most recently on a main road in a slight case of road rage.

Lots of brawls but only one really good one.

Back in my High School years, quarter final soccer game in the playoffs. Nothing, nothing tie into sudden death ot. Other team advancing on our goal when the fans in the stand starting throwing rocks at our goalie. Goalie got beaned, ball went in the net, hometown refs didn't make a call and allowed the goal. I got a good view of where the rocks came from and decided to act. 2 wingers, myself, the goalie now bleeding from the head went into the stands and proceeded to beat the living daylights out of several of the folks who were pelting us with rocks. No surprise, it took a police escort to get us out of town and I got a week off for bad behavior. The worst part was our principal made us apologize to the team and to the school for "embarassing" the town. I'd do it again in a heartbeat.
