Here’s how teams ended up ranking during the regular season based on the lists I’ve received as well as previous votes in the elimination poll:

1) New York Knicks
2) Chicago Bulls
3) Cleveland Cavaliers
4) Washington Wizards
5) New Jersey Nets
6) Orlando Magic
7) Philadelphia 76ers
8) Memphis Grizzlies

San Antonio just won the regular season award over the New York Knicks (lists + votes/difficulty of the conference*) and so will have home court advantage throughout the entire playoffs.

*Teams finished with an exact same amount of points. Used the quality and depth of the conferences as a tie breaker.

Here are the actual matchups:

New York Knicks (1) vs Memphis Grizzlies (8)
Chicago Bulls (2) vs Philadelphia 76ers (7)
Cleveland Cavaliers (3) vs Orlando Magic (6)
Washington Wizards (4) vs New Jersey Nets (5)

For an indepth view on the teams: LINK (http://www.hfboards.com/showthread.php?t=141607&page=1&pp=15) and Rosters (http://www.hfboards.com/showthread.php?t=142672)

I'd like everyone to vote for the 4 teams they think will advance. Try to be critical, fair and honest..

I'll make seperated threads once we've reached the Conference finals.

Maybe following the draft thread would give this answer, but why is Memphis in the East?

First Matchup:

Knicks should take this without too many problems.

Second Matchup:
Once again I'll go with the higher seed, they seem better on paper

Third matchup:
I'll go for the upset here, Orlando has an amazing bench and they would definately hurt Cleveland a lot!

Fourth Matchup:
Nets for me. Antawn and Kobe in one team with a further ball in the hands player like Wally being sixth man? Seems like they will need two balls going around in the team.
Nets have a clear advantage inside, and the superior pointgard in Parker who should organise this team better and get everyone the shots they deserve.
