06-01-2005, 03:12 PM
Is this draft if you were trying to build a championship team today, or a long-term team?

If it is the former, then taking James with the 2nd pick is definitely not justified.

Dark Knight
06-01-2005, 03:19 PM
The key is to find the right balance. James is a great choice IMO.

A young team can definitely win. So can a veteran team but there should be a balance. We'll review all the teams in the end. And ultimately it will be for the championship because the best team will win.

ObeySteve
06-01-2005, 03:21 PM
What do you mean "find a balance"? Is it to create a championship team now, or a team for the long run? There is no in-between.

IMO Webber is close to just being done. He can't move or jump anymore, and all he has left is his passing. Just not the player he was a few years back.

Now, for my next pick, the guy I'm looking at is a guy with a pretty bad rep, but his stats are just too good to pass up.

I'm talking about PG Stephon Marbury.

If it wasn't a snake draft, then it would only be fair to eventually change the order. But since its a snake draft, I see no reason to change it.
