With 5th overall pick in the NBA Entry Draft the Charlotte Bobcats are pround to select Point Guard Raymond Felton (UNC, Junior) (http://www.wcnc.com/sharedcontent/sports/dailyimages/0327uncb.jpg)

The North Carolina based team needs some good "homegrow" talent to attract the fans to their new Charlotte Arena. Felton was part of the group that captured the NCAA title this year with the UNC Tarheels.

About the Blazers trade, I'm sure that Bernie is working in the background to get something done.;)

I really like the pick of Wright by the Raptors (I think he's going to develop into a solid force at the two guard spot) but I have to question the selection of Petro. Chris Paul or Felton would of been ideal picks, and our #3 player was Derron Williams. Paul is quick, and can run the offence the same with Felton who is much faster, and the perfect fit to run a up tempo Lakers team. Williams is a good player, but he is not best fit for the system.

He strikes me as a Wilcox-clone. I don't think he'll ever amount to very much in the NBA... he has the body but he doesn't have the work ethic needed to succeed. I'd be willing to wager that Ike Diogu manages to carve out a better NBA career than Taft...

He was, but he didn't improve as much as he was expected to. This was partly due to his lackluster effort and partly due to having a point guard who preferred jacking up shots to distributing the ball.

Strengths: Graham is a tough nosed, no nonsense type, power 3 ... A physical specimen with great leaping ability who finishes very well … Has a chiseled body with excellent size, wingspan and great strength … Very tough player, enjoys contact.

Very nice pick, yellowcard. May is exactly what New Jersey needs. IMO, while he may not be the most talented(no pun intended), he's probably the best pick in terms of filling a need in this draft IMO.

Strengths: May possesses all the skills to become a complete post player in the NBA. He has excellent touch, strength, and footwork that allowed him to out muscle and maneuver around anyone on the college level

Weaknesses: May's most glaring weakness is his size. Listed at 6'8", he will find difficulty shooting over the much larger power forwards and centers in the NBA. He will also need to tone his bulky frame in order to take the wear and tear of an 82 game schedule

Warrick is my boy. He may not be the most highly rated player among the talking heads right now, but IMHO he will be among the top two or three players in the rookie of the year voting next spring.

Thank you, GEEZ!

Warrick is my boy. He may not be the most highly rated player among the talking heads right now, but IMHO he will be among the top two or three players in the rookie of the year voting next spring.

With his size and his ball skills, as Bob Ryan likes to say, he plays the position of "basketball player."

Hope my hometown Pacers take him at 17!
I've actually heard great things in regards to Warrick's work outs with Grover. I wasn't high on him before as he could simply dunk the ball and hit the short jump-shot but he's apparently improved his shooting by leaps and bounds. I'm still not sold on him as an NBA SF yet but he's getting there...

To me this guy is 2nd rounder material. :dunno:

Not a chance too much skill for the second round, He's an explosive scorer and if he can put it all together consistantly watch out

Screw it, the last pick that was made was five days ago.

The Sacramento Kings are proud to select, at #23, PF/C Tiago Splitter.

Sacramento is never afraid to go with foreigners, he's young and they need tons of help up front.

Good pick. I'm curious to see where he goes this year. I am thinking he will go higher then most expect.

I'm not sure, if Tiago is going to enter the draft. He was recently taken out of some mock drafts and there could issues with his current team.

I don't think he will stay in the draft, especially if he was expecting to be drafted this low. Same thing with Splitter, who's said he'll withdraw.

I still think he should go fairly high in the draft. He measured out with a ridiculous Brand-esque wingspan and he's a legit 6'8. I think he might get picked at 15 by New Jersey...

PG: Kidd
SG: Carter
SF: Jefferson
PF: Diogu
C: Kristic

That's pretty strong...
