You don't have to subscribe to Center Ice to get that game on NHL Network? If that's the case....excellent :yo:

I have an ExpressVu satellite in Denver; so I have Canadian programming through the dish.

Tell me more. I would seriously like to know as my house will be finished being built in January and I need to make a cable vs. satalite decision.

When I was in Canada this summer I spent a couple summer days alone at my Aunt and Uncle's house in Sorel. So being a bit bored, I watched their ExpressVu dish for a while and I was hooked. When I got back to Denver, I did some research and I found a company in Montreal to purchase the equipment from. (Basically the receivers are what you will find with Dish Network). The major difference between an ExpressVu setup and a Dish Network setup is the position in which the dish is pointing since its a different satellite. The hardest part was finding someone to install the system. I must applaud the company the equipment was purchased from they were some patient and kind folks :yo:

The packaging I have is pretty basic. I'm able to get TSN, Sportsnet and The Score. My mom loves it because she can get her French Canadian programming. Now our house looks like a communications network :joker:

The price isn't too bad, in total we pay between 40-50 bucks a month for the programming.

So once I get bored with Thorne and Clement I can turn over to TSN :D

I personally wouldn't touch cable, but that's just my preference. My one regret is that half the televised DU games come on digital cable. Its a preference. I've had a dish around since 93 going back to the old c-band. I'm not a fan of cable, so I would endorse a dish, but I'm biased :rolly:

Getting the Canadian hookup wasn't easy, but it will be worth it once the hockey season starts :yo:
