He has probobly made the biggest Impact on me this camp other then Trevor Letowski. If they take Sean Pronger over him, the system is really messed up.

Id say 90% Chance

:rolleyes: All I ask is for you to look at the stats. The Columbus numbers are understandable. He was a top line player in Syracuse.

Pittsburgh is going to be worse than us in the regular season. How good do you think thier preseason squad is? Wow he scored 4 points! In a PREseason game!

But if it was your boy, JLGP, you'd be proclaiming that 4th line RW spot for him. I can just see it now, "See I told you if you give him the chance he can produce, blah blah blah"

Nedorost...this debate will never end will it :handclap: Every year the bluejackets don't make the playoffs is another year Nedorost is left in Syracuse due to the fact that the jackets have been active in free agency to bolster scoring and defense on the wings and down the middle. Soon it will be to the point where Nedorost is no longer a "project" for the team.

Apples and oranges. Nedorost is an offensive player. Jean Luc is a bruising, fighting, penalty killing type of player.

If Nedorost wants to be a decent player on a scoring line in the NHL, he has to put up more than a half a point per game in the minors. I say send him down unless theres an injury on the top two lines. Then if 15 games into the the Crunch season, hes sitting on around 25 points, or at least 8 or 9 goals, then Im with you guys, theyd need to get him up here. But he hasnt done that. Not yet.

Jean Luc is a guy who has proven himself able to play at this level. Now maybe his ceiling isnt as high as we once thought it was, but if you completely forget last year, he was an acceptable role player. He was our best body checker. Second best fighter next to Shells. And was THE best penalty killer against a 5 on 3 and one of the best at 5 on 4.

I'll repeat it again, though it hasnt sunk in the first 50 times Ive said it: I dont think Nedorost sucks. Im not saying hes worthless and the Jackets should give up on him (like many are saying about JLGP btw.) All Im saying is that he has to prove he can earn it over the course of a regular season. He hasnt done it yet. Preseason means nothing. Again, if he goes down and dominates in the AHL, I agree he needs to be given a shot. But he has struggled in the AHL, so I see no need for him to stuggle even more in the NHL.
