Actually, I much prefer this method.

I'm sure most of our participants will approve as well.

Rules for the Draft

It is probably best done with an example, but I'll do that later.

The draft is done in rounds of five, like the last one. The amount of rounds is determined by whoever released the most people. This person will get first pick in the draft and priority each round. People's picks are then based off of how many rounds there are and how their released list divides into that.

For instance the person with the most people released releases 25 people. There are now five rounds and this person gets first pick in each round.

Another person releases 17 people. Because there are 5 rounds, we divide 17 by 5 (3 with a remainder of 2). the remainder of two represents the amount of rounds of surplus picks they get, while the three represents the amount they usually pick (its a lot simpler than it sounds).

To put it together in an easy to understand format, here's what the two person draft would look like.

Seems similar to last seasons waiver draft, except this time it is top heavy rather than bottom heavy...but with an even distribution. It still gives the Studios who release more people the advantage of A) Getting to choose first in every round, B) Getting to make the most choices in every round.

and this time if someone releases very few people they are not absolutely cornholed.

I like it.

It is much better than last seasons, but then agian if I understood how last season was working, I possibly would have been less bitter.

i figured i need to keep some people in case this doesn't go the way i want it to, or else I would put up more. If I think about it long enough, I could probably count on one hand the people I can actually use for my ideas.


Frankly, the studio I ended up with, the old owners had very significant differences in ideas I had. A witty guy I am, but funny I am not. The studio was geared for light hearted projects with a lot of comedies, I am not.
