Red Rider and frontman Tom Cochrane (who also had the solo hit "Life Is A Highway") originally did the song "Lunatic Fringe." It appears on the "Vision Quest" album, which IMO is one of the best soundtracks to come out of the mid-80's timeframe.

Journey, Foreigner, Don Henley, Dio, Red Rider, Madonna (ugh)- but definitely worth checking out.

The sad part, is that you mention Vision Quest, and I can't tell you who is in the movie. I do for some reason know it is sort of about wresting, but yup, I know it has that Madonna song Crazy for You on the soundtrack, and I didn't know anything else about the soundtrack
