The vast majority of Leafs trade proposals on this site are made by Non leaf fans.

If so many non fans of the team are making trade proposals, wouldnt that prove the opposite of what you are saying?

I don't want to move Tucker. I don't think many Leaf fans do.

Yeah, I think this is the same guy that always says, "I'm having an argument with a friend", and then goes on to make Leaf fans look stupid.

Like Tucker or not, it's not even close. Brewer is worth that package atleast. Plus the Oilers got Torres to fill the pest role, they don't have a need, want, or room for another.

I don't recall ever seeing anybody post a proposal where his favorite team *receives* Tucker.

The main reason why Tucker is in trade proposals is b/c he's one of the only tradeable assets the Leafs have up front (besides prospects and picks, which we aren't going to shop). Most crackpots here fail to appreciate that. Get it through your heads. If you want Reichel, Renberg and Travis Green in proposals, Super. Thats great. We'll do that, just ask us. You really think that Tucker has any where near the value of Brewer? Are you kidding?! He's a third line checker, who isn't even great defensively and gets ALOT of penalties and has 20 goal potential. Brewer is the Oilers best Dman and a top pairing Dman on pretty much any team in the NHL (Isles, Sense, Jersey, Wings, Avs are exceptions).

I never said that.

I simply said that it's non leaf fans making these trade proposals.

Never specifically said that the people who were posting these proposals were trying to acquire Tucker for their favourite team.

Think Blue essentially summed it up. Tucker is really one of the only tradable assets the Leafs have up front. So whenever anyone thinks of making a proposal for the Leafs, they seem to just throw in Tucker.
