yeah he was send down but then called back up a few days ago. I forget the reason but i remember reading it in the Rochester D@C that Ruff called him up for a second look or something.

They called him back up when his leg injury had cleared up a little more.

Can't really see a spot for him...unless Begin gets in the doghouse.

With the way Gaustad has played I doubt it either. Unless they are afraid they'll lose him in the waiver draft and give him the 4th line/healthy scratch RW spot because of that more than because he's earned a spot over Gaustad.

Although, it sounds like Milley looked pretty good last night, so you never know. If he plays well the rest of the preseason, he could earn that spot.

It will be interesting to see how things play out with Norm. For his sake I hope he's on someone's NHL roster on opening night. And I wouldn;t mind it too much if it were in Buffalo.

Maybe Buffalo was just showcasing him to trade? I could see them packaging Milley, a defenseman and Connolly to a team for a draft pick or whatever and this in turn would free up some money which would go to sign Satan and thus make everyone happy!

Perhaps, but with Norm having to be protected you won't see anyone giving up a whole lot to get him right now. They'll just wait and see if they can pick him up for nothing.
