STUART SUFFERS BRUISE
In the second period of Sunday's game in Vancouver, Brad Stuart left the game early in the second period after being put into the boards awkwardly by Vancouver's Matt Cooke. While Stuart did not return to the game for precautionary reasons, the diagnosis is certainly in the Sharks favor.

"It is just a bruise, nothing serious," said Wilson. "We just felt that at that point in the game we would keep him out for safety."
