Hurricane Juan

I know there are quite a few posters from Nova Scotia on here - thought everyone might like to know.

Hurricane Juan is hitting Halifax tonight. There are reports of trees down and power outages. I was talking with a friend tonight, and the phone went dead, so I'm guessing phone lines are down in some areas as well. The storm surge is the biggest problem (occurring during high tide) so they're expecting flooding all along the coastline and probably downtown Halifax will be hit hard.

Here's hoping everyone stays safe.

Yeah same, i hope everyone in Nova Scotia are safe and out of harm's way. I just saw most of what's going on, on the news.

Tonight I pray for the people of Nova Scotia.

Oh man. Now your getting me all worried. :(

I live in NS.

Doesn't sound that bad yet. Kinda windy and some heavy rain ...but nothing really major happening out there yet. I suppose it's bound to get worse.
