Hios potential's better than Suave's but just a tad below Miller's and Noronen's IMO.

No comparison to Fleury and Lehtonen.

I say he's about on par with Nororon.

1) Lehtonen
2) Fleury
3) Miller
4) Oullette
5) Noronen
5) Bacashihua
6) Emery
7) Leclaire
8) Ahonen
9) Des-Louriers
10) Harding

Others such as Sauve, Bryzgalov, Liv, Tellqvist, etc.. make the list complete till 15.

1) Lehtonen
2) Fleury
--------------
3) Miller
4) Bacashihua

5) Noronen
---------------
you have lehtonen fleury together miller cash and to a certain extent noronen. but all seem to agree that cash is top 5 talent for goaltending prospects.

I wouldn't say he's Top 5 necessarily. He has Top 5 upside, but his development thus far isn't promising. I see him more in the 10-20 range.

A lot of guys have Top 5 upside...

Emery, Oulette, Leclaire, DiPietro to name a few.

I won't put Bacashihua in the Top 5 until he shows he can play the same way every game. No more of that crap where he plays great for a week and than gives up 5 goals each in back to back games.

I agree. I keep reading that people want him to back up Turco and get rid of Tugnutt. Bacashihua simply isn't ready yet. I'm not even sure he will be ready next season either.

Your right when you say that. The Stars kept Mike Smith around longer at training camp this year because they thought he may be the back-up next year to Turco and not Cash. However, it was also stated somewhere that the Stars sent Cash down early to Utah so he could have more time to be prepared for the season. So will hafta wait and see come next season.

Smith was cut before Cash this year. However, Smith missed most of camp due to an injured wrist.

Ellis was the last goalie cut, but even he was only up for one or two more days than Bacashihua.
