I'm not saying that it is likely, but it is looking possible. At Sunday's game, he was one of the few Canucks who played decently. And he scored.

He's got speed, size, and character. Also, the club could probably use some fresh blood, and the scouting staff could use a pat on the back.

I'd rather see him get top line ice time in the AHL than be the 12/13th forward here. I wouldn't be opposed to having him stick around for the first couple of weeks as long as there's no numbers problem with that, just to get a taste of a real NHL game, but he could use a year on the farm, or at least a few months.
